Action Teams
C4gc is dedicated to affecting change in local politics and government through ACTION. Please consider becoming involved with one of our Action Teams. Whether you have one hour a week to volunteer, or several, we have a place for you to plug in and contribute. Our Action Teams are dedicated to ensuring fiscal responsibility, restrained and accountable governance and individual liberty. Besides this, our Action Teams are made up of great and patriotic folks, who believe in American exceptionalism.
C4gc’s Action Teams:
Planning & Development Action Team
The Planning and Development Team takes care of the group’s communications (marketing, PR, image, etc.), finances (fundraising and PAC treasurer responsibilities) and administrative tasks (bi-weekly e-mail distribution, website and FB page administration, membership, monthly meeting coordination, team support and volunteer recruitment).
Neighborhood Networking Action Team
In 2013 the Neighborhood Networking Team will focus on the Greensboro City Council election and influencing
the vote in Greensboro’s districts #3, #4 and #5 (total of 60 precincts/polling places). We will work to organize volunteers to pass out candidate endorsement lists in these targeted neighborhoods pre-election and at the
polling places during early voting, as well as on election day in both the autumn Primary and General Election.
Research Action Team
In 2013 the Research Team will focus on vetting the City Council candidates and organizing the process of C4gc’s endorsements. We will also look for ways to educate people in the community and our members on issues that we face by posting articles on FB for people to access.
County/School Board Action Team
The County/School Board Team will work to keep up with issues that are facing the BoCC and BoE. They will attend meetings, organize and encourage speakers from the floor and LTE writing campaigns. They will correspond with our elected officials and encourage conservative voting patterns and limiting the growth of government. They will wok to keep our members up to date on County and School Board business.
Events/Liaison Action Team
The Events/Liaison Team works to host an annual Tea Party in April, as well as other large events, they set up a C4gc informational booth at community functions and help facilitate C4gc’s fundraisers, if needed. They help secure speakers for the Front Line Forum, when necessary. They work in tandem with other Liberty groups, when appropriate, and strive to keep lines of communication open.
City Action Team
The City Team will work to keep up with issues that are facing the Greensboro and High Point City Councils, as well if smaller Guilford County municipalities, if possible. They will attend meetings, organize and encourage speakers from the floor and LTE writing campaigns. They will correspond with our elected officials and encourage conservative voting patterns and limiting the growth of government. They will share information with each other. They will work to keep our members up to date on both city council’s business dealings.
